In this last week of Hebrews I hope you can look back and see how you have developed in your Bible Study Habits. While I’m sure you honed new skills, it is my desire that you have taken noticed your weaknesses as well.
Mine is that I have not placed a back up plan around my time with God. As a mom to small children, there were days where I would wake up early to meet with God and study. Then the kids were awake, or someone was sick, school was called off due to weather, it was an endless strand of interruption.
While I had placed a boundary around my time, I had not done a good job of having a back up plan, and my spotty blogging is the consequence of that. I do apologize for not being more consistent, it is my hope that noticing the blind spot in my study habits will help me make a better plan for maintaining as much consistency as possible.
Where do we go from here? What is the next step?
Pick another book of the Bible, or return to the beginning of Hebrews, and start again. My reading plan is in Genesis right now. In several weeks I will be trekking through Titus with some sweet ladies from my church as part of my Lenten focus.
I would love for you to come along with me through Titus, digging in and contemplating all God will show about some tough topics. I’m excited to explore the hard things mixed with the beautiful message of Christ being all for all.
So where are you headed in study? Drop a comment and let me know what scripture will engage your mind next!
Blessings, friends! Have a wonderful rest of your week!
